Come to GMRI on Saturday, April 26th for a seaweed celebration with friends, family, and farmers! Explore the seaweed marketplace, try delicious seaweed samples, join a hands-on demo to ID local seaweeds, get inspired by local seaweed artists, and learn directly from Maine’s seaweed experts in one of the community panels. Seaweed Saturday is hosted in partnership with the Maine Seaweed Council, Heritage Seaweed, and Maine Sea Grant.
Seaweed Saturday is a free, non-ticketed event for all ages. However, space is limited for the panels, so we recommend pre-registering to secure your spot!
